Get Started with Kaliber Capital Management

Invest In Your Future.  Take Action. 

Kaliber Capital Management, LLC uses Interactive Brokers as the custodian for client accounts. 

There are three ways to get started:

1) If you already have an Interactive Brokers Account:

  1. Send us an email stating “I have an existing Interactive Brokers account.  Please send me the documents needed to get started with KCM.”
  2. KCM will send you the new client materials and the information you will need for Step 5
  3. Log in to Account Management and proceed to Manage Account > Add or Link Accounts > Advisor/Broker Account Setup
  4. Select the option that states “Move my entire account to an account managed by the Advisor/Broker identified below”
  5. Enter the account number and account title of the advisor using the information provided in the KCM New Client email.  
  6. Complete the new client materials from KCM, scan and return them via email to welcome@kalibercap.com. If you encounter problems on the Interactive Brokers website or need help transferring existing investments from another brokerage account, contact them at 866-694-2757, option 2, and they will be happy to help.

2) If you don’t have an Interactive Brokers Account:

  1. Send us an email stating “Please send me a link to open an Interactive Brokers account and the documents needed to get started with KCM.”
  2. You will receive an email from Interactive Brokers with a link to open a new account with KCM as the Investment Advisor.  Make sure to enter your banking information to fund your account during this process.
  3. Once you’ve opened your Interactive Brokers account, log in with your user name and password then proceed to Account Management > Funding > Fund Transfers > Transaction Type: “Deposit” and follow the instructions.  For an overview of the process of making a deposit follow this link.
  4. Contact your bank with instructions to do the wire transfer with the bank details you provided to Interactive Brokers. 
  5. KCM will email you your new client materials.  Complete the new client materials, scan and return them via email to welcome@kalibercap.com
